English Year 2

In Year 2, students are developing their reading skills and using a range of strategies to recognise and decode words. They are learning to understand the range of purposes and audiences for spoken and written language and also learning to create their own texts for specific purposes and audiences. They are also learning to reflect on and assess their own writing and that of others.

Mathematics Year 2

Students learn about number theory, such as place value, number sequences and rounding numbers, and simple operations with number such as addition and subtraction. They work with fractions and number sequences to gain a thorough understanding of numbers and patterns.

I went to Cluey to get extra help with my Lantite prep for both Numeracy and Literacy. Both my tutors were able to help break down the content and pointed out my weak/strong points when answering questions. Once I knew what I need to work on it made it easier to do practise questions because I knew what I should and shouldn't do when answering the questions! I highly recommend giving Cluey a shot if you're struggling, I found my Numeracy sessions to be super helpful since I struggled to remember formulas or how to even break down a question. The sessions are one-one and the tutors are super supportive and are great at giving confident boosts.

I was very satisfied with my Cluey tutoring experience in preparation for LANTITE numeracy. My tutors were very patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. Most important for me was that the tutors themselves had actually completed the test so they were trained to teach the exact test I was sitting! In addition to this, it is not just the tutor's responsibility to assist. The biggest factor is your own commitment and perseverance to practice and apply yourself regularly and well ahead of the test date.
