Some of the subjects we cover

Each subject is covered using a learning program that contains all the content you need and is led by your personally matched tutor

Mathematics Year 9

The Year 9 program covers Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, Statistics and Probability, and introduces the study of Trigonometry. Students use appropriate strategies to solve problems and link mathematical ideas and the relevant terminology and notations to explain their thinking processes. Our Year 9 program places a great deal of importance on consolidating prior mathematical knowledge and laying the strongest foundations for senior Mathematics at every level.

Mathematics Year 2

Students learn about number theory, such as place value, number sequences and rounding numbers, and simple operations with number such as addition and subtraction. They work with fractions and number sequences to gain a thorough understanding of numbers and patterns.

Mathematics Year 5

The numbers skills of students in Year 5 should allow them to apply place value in digits of any number and demonstrate a more sophisticated understanding of number patterns and fractions. They are dealing with more challenging multiplication problems, including using the formal algorithm, and calculating amounts of money using percentages. Their appreciation of space and time is becoming more subtle and abstract.

Mathematics Year 7

This program covers all the components of the national curriculum (and all relevant state variations). In Year 7, students start to explore the use of pronumerals and the language of algebra. Students develop a range of mental and technological strategies to enhance their computational skills. They learn about Pythagoras' theorem and acquire a variety of ways to demonstrate and communicate their mathematical understanding.

Here’s what parents and students around Australia are saying about Cluey Learning:

★★★★★
My 12 year old son was struggling with High School math, but in a matter of roughly 2 months, he has received an award in maths at school (never happened before), as well as getting a B on his school report (also has never happened). He was initially very against wanting a tutor, I think he thought it was a punishment, but he happily logs on every week and does his session. I am very glad I chose to use Cluey. Kim Lyons (mother)

We have had only good feedback from both our girls 1 for math's in a group and the other for math's and English 1 on 1. They have loved every minute of the classes and both sessions suit the child it was intended for. Thanks for making this an easier way to get help for the children. It is a bit pricey but when I put it into perspective with travel and waiting, pick up and time lost I'm happy to pay it

We have used Cluey for Y12 Math Methods and English. Although hesitant at first, my son has really enjoyed his sessions. In particular, he can really feel the improvement after his Math sessions which he wants to continue by choice. I found the onboarding process very professional and the feedback parents recieve after each lesson is excellent. We are very pleased with Cluey!
