Making a difference

Thanks to you & your awesome tutoring my daughter has been promoted to Maths Extension (Advanced Maths) in Year 10 at her school so she stands the best chance of doing Advanced Maths for ATAR entry into STEM degrees! Thankyou - you make a difference!

Rob Kerr

My Year 10 child was losing confidence with Maths as a result of remote learning and a reluctance to ask the questions he needed to in order to improve his understanding. Finding Cluey via an internet search I went with the trial period and the results have been very pleasing. The one-on-one attention has made a big difference as he has gone from high 60's into the 90's with some of his tests. He has formed a good learning relationship with his tutor and is reaping the benefits. This has been critical as he needs a high level of maths competence to pursue his desired career path.

Seeing amazing results

My son's having year 10 maths tutoring. He is focussed and excited about maths and more confident about tackling hard questions and has built a great rapport with his tutor.

My daughter was struggling with year 9 maths & having a regular tutoring session has helped her confidence, as well as her understanding of what's required. I especially want to thank the tutor herself for her patience, way of teaching & her availability. I highly recommend Cluey Learning to anyone who's child is struggling.

Emily

This has been perfect for my son!

I was nervous as we have never done tutoring before and didn't know how it would fit. My son is in year 10 and wanted to solidify his understanding and to build confidence. After the welcome conversation it was decided that we would alternate English one week and Math Methods the next with 2 different teachers/tutors. This has been perfect and my son has gained a lot from it. He wants to continue into year 11 and my other child would like to join now too! There is flexibility to pause over summer (or continue if they want ongoing support) and I feel very happy with the payment system too. Being online feels less intrusive in our busy household too. I highly recommend!

Trial Sessions Review

My daughter is in Year 9 and she has been happy with the tutoring. I like how the tutor leaves a comment at the end of the session. She has had only two sessions so far and enjoyed them both. During a maths session she found it difficult to understand the concepts as the teacher talked very fast but was able to grasp concepts taught through her tutoring teacher.

Claire Marriott

I have a 15 year old daughter who had reached a barrier with her maths and is was beginning to have a real impact. The maths curriculum at school in year 9 was going so fast and because she hadn't grasped the initial understanding of the new component she quickly fell behind and was failing in her maths tests which then was impacting confidence and ability etc. My daughter thought I was the worst mum ever to even think of accessing an online tutor however it has been really beneficial having the time to really embed understanding. Her tutor has been incredibly patient, started from where she was at, given her the space to say what she wants to focus on and supported her in her learning goals. 5 weeks in and I know it was the right decision when she turned round after the last session and said that she now gets that concept! I think what has been really helpful as we started this that her tutor was not perturbed by mum sitting in so she could also support.
