QLD University Student (Bachelor of Education)

Derya has completed a Bachelor of Education in 2021 from Griffith University. Derya values the learning needs of all students and believes it is imperative to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to flourish in the learning environment. Therefore, differentiation is a key factor in her teaching practice. She believes that the children of today are our future and Teachers should be a role model to them and display a good attitude to learning and growing to ensure that have something positive to offer to their surroundings and that they are not held back on possible life opportunities.

Carinne

NSW Teacher

Carinne is a qualified, accreditation Teacher, holding her Bachelor of Education (Primary) from Charles Sturt University. Between 2008 and 2020 she worked as a Classroom Teacher across all Primary years. In 2021 she started as a Casual Teacher and Tutor. Carinne uses her highly effective written and verbal communication skills and interaction style to quickly make connections and develop rapport with her students.

Benjamin

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science (Physics and Mathematics Major))

Ben completed his Year 12 certificate in 2019 and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics and Mathematics at La Trobe University. As a volunteering Cub Scouts leader, Ben interacts with and mentors primary aged students and develops basic life skills. Ben enjoys the patterns in Math and endeavours to share his passion with his students to build confidence and knowledge.

Dhiviyan

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure, Honours) / Bachelor of Business (Management))

Dhiviyan commenced his Bachelor of Engineering Civil/Bachelor of Business Management in 2019 at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He took part in informal tutoring during his time at school. Dhiviyan is empathetic and understands that not all students have the same way of understanding or learn at the same rate and believes that patience is an important virtue.

Cooper completed his Year 12 certificate in 2019 with an ATAR score of 97.15. He is now completing a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science at Monash University. Cooper is excellent at developing interesting ways to remember complex Maths concepts. He connects his lessons to real life examples, helping his students see relevance in every session.

Hiba

Hiba has been tutoring since 2012 and has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science with a major in Finance and Math Modelling. Her goal is to bring the best out of each student, and help them realise their potential through strengthening their skills.

Sandy

Sandy completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 95.95. She is now studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Biomedical Science. Sandy has previous experience tutoring Maths and English, and working with students of varying abilities. Sandy has a very student-centred approach to her sessions and can explain difficult concepts in their simplest terms.

Bernice completed her Bachelor of Science in 2016, at the University of Queensland, majoring in Biomedical Science. Bernice has experience as a Tutor at Primary, Secondary and Tertiary level and is currently a High School Tutor In the subjects of English, Mathematics, Accounting, Chemistry and Biology. Bernice enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.

Ziang (Ocean) completed his Western Australian High Certificate of Education in 2018, achieving an ATAR of 99.90, going on to study his Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne. Between 2019-2020 he was a Peer Mentor at university as well as volunteering as an online Physics Tutor, helping first year students. Ziang is passionate about helping and inspiring his students.

Edward has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and is now studying his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Science at Monash University.
