VIC University Student (Bachelor of Biomedicine)

Japleen is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at La Trobe University. Previously she worked as a Teaching Assistant, working with Primary students and assisting with Literacy and Numeracy. Japleen believes in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment and feels with the right support, students can reach their potential.

Matisse

VIC University Student (Masters in Primary Education)

Matisse is currently studying her Masters of Education (Primary) and as part of her studies, she has completed practicums. In 2021 she has worked casually in Out of School Hours Care and in an Education Support Staff role. Matisse believes that she has developed a sound judgement in the effectiveness of each resource and program for individual students. She strongly supports the Constructivist Theory of learning, in which each student is recognised as an individual with differing learning needs and must be supported in processing and understanding information in a way that suits their learning style. As part of her pedagogy, she firmly believes it is important to understand her students and find teaching strategies that will best support them.

Colleen commenced her Bachelor of Education Primary at Griffith University in 2021 and has experience privately tutoring Primary students. Colleen has an outgoing personality and wants to lead her students onto the best possible pathway for their future, opening up their minds to be able to achieve their best.

Simon completed his Bachelor of Psychological Sciences in 2010 at La Trobe University and his Masters of Teaching (Primary) in 2012 at The University of Melbourne. He has 8 years' experience as a classroom Primary Teacher, with experience across all Primary grades. He also taught online during 2020. Simons is a hard-working, dynamic and motivated Primary school Teacher who has a strong interest in student wellbeing, inclusive education, inquiry based learning and Digital Technologies.

Lisa has a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from Curtin University, and combines her current online tutoring with casual classroom work. Lisa is highly involved in helping her students reach their potential. She currently tutors English and Maths, including NAPLAN preparation to students in Year 3-6.

Sharon is a qualified Teacher and has a kind and friendly approach, she is patient and committed to her students. Sharon aims to deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons to students of all abilities to help them achieve and exceed their academic goals.

Aditi completed a Master of Engineering (Environmental), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Visual Arts from The University of Melbourne. She is passionate about making a positive impact in her students' lives and sharing her enthusiasm. Aditi creates an engaging and fun environment in her sessions, and strives to ensure her students reach their full potential.

Michelle

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours))

Michelle completed her Higher School Certificate in 2017, achieving an ATAR 95.8 and is now studying her Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours). She has experience as a Tutor helping students at the University of Sydney. Michelle is approachable and compassionate in the way she mentors her students which allows for supportive conversations where they can confide in her and seek advice. Michelle has also developed the ability to build relationships with a variety of people, identify their needs and solve these needs with acquired expertise and mentorship.

Catherine has tutoring experience and is passionate about helping her students develop key numeracy skills as they work towards reaching their educational goals. Hannah

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine)

Hannah completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.25, going on to commence her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at the University of New England. Hannah has taught and guided younger students in both karate and homework during her time at school and received tutoring herself throughout high school for each subject. Hannah can mould her classes to cater to a student's needs and weaknesses. She is approachable and friendly, creating a comfortable work environment for her students.

Parul

Parul holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology as well as a Master in Biotechnology (Advanced) in Immunology. She has tutored Chemistry and Biology to students in Years 10 to 12. Parul's experience has helped her learn to devise different plans for each student as every child has a different grasping level and understanding.

Emmeline graduated High School with an ATAR equivalent of 98 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Applied Science (Optometry) at the Queensland University of Technology. She currently works as an Optometrist/Vision Therapist, developing and implementing learning plans for her patients. Emmeline loves working with her students helping them build their skills and confidence in learning.
