QLD University Student (Bachelor of Education)

Derya has completed a Bachelor of Education in 2021 from Griffith University. Derya values the learning needs of all students and believes it is imperative to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to flourish in the learning environment. Therefore, differentiation is a key factor in her teaching practice. She believes that the children of today are our future and Teachers should be a role model to them and display a good attitude to learning and growing to ensure that have something positive to offer to their surroundings and that they are not held back on possible life opportunities.

Mark

Mark holds a Certificate IV in Education Support and currently works as a Learning Support Officer, working with years 7 to 12 students in English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science in a permanent position, as well as working casually as a Teacher Aide/Education Support Worker with Primary and Secondary students. Mark is a confident Tutor bringing a wealth of knowledge and strong communication skills to his sessions.

Chelsea

NSW Teacher

Chelsea completed a Bachelor of Education (Primary) with a minor in English and achieved a GPA of 5.92. She has experience as a CRT and is now an accredited Teacher. Chelsea believes in fostering an encouraging and stimulating learning environment where students engage in collaborative discussions, and feels with the right support, students can reach their potential.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering (Honours))

Tara completed her Year 12 certificate and scored an ATAR of 97.15. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering (Honours) at the University of New South Wales. Tara is an enthusiastic person who loves working with all age groups and tailors her teaching style to suit the individual needs of every student in order to help them achieve their academic goals.

Chloe

VIC University Student (Medicine)

Chloe is currently studying Medicine at The University of Newcastle. She completed her Year 12 Victorian Certificate of Education Baccalaureate in 2018 with an ATAR of 96.65. Chloe has formal experience in tutoring primary students in person in 2019. Chloe is passionate about teaching and finds it rewarding to see students' skills develop and confidence grow as they learn.

Mi

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering)

Mi Ran (Michelle) completed her International Baccalaureate in 2020, achieving an score equivalent to an ATAR of 92.00, going on to study her Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering and Project Management the University of Sydney. Michelle has a passion for problem-solving and helping students work through problems critically, with a holistic methodology. She enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Daniel

NSW University Student (Master of Teaching (Secondary))

Daniel is currently studying Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the Australian Catholic University. He is passionate about helping students develop their key numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Daniel has a passion for guiding students to reach their full potential based on their interests, strengths, and individual learning styles.

Kanika

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Commerce)

Kanika completed her International Baccalaureate in 2019, scoring 42/45, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.2. She then went on to commence her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wale. She helped her peers with their studies while at High School and has done formal tutoring since in the subjects of Maths, Physics and English. Kanika in confident in tailoring her lessons to meet the requirements of each student. She is determined to help students realise their academic potential and achieve their learning goals through her supportive, reliable, and personalised lessons.

Kanchan

VIC Teacher

Kanchan is a Secondary school Mathematics teacher and has been teaching for the past six years. She enjoys helping students develop their understanding of different Mathematics concepts and their personal goals. Kanchan encourages her students to ask questions so she can identify areas to improve and adapt her techniques to suit different learning styles.

Warwick

Warwick has completed his Bachelor of Science through the University of Western Australia. During 2014-2016 he tutored year 11 and 12 students in Chemistry and Physics. He is highly passionate about Chemistry and enjoys talking about and explaining any topic relating to it.

William

William is currently in his third year of his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree and has over 3 years' experience tutoring, helping younger students with Math and Chemistry. William is passionate about teaching and learning especially in the fields of Math and Science and when teaching these topics tries to show their real world applications and share his enthusiasm about the subjects. Between 2018 and 2019 he worked as a Tutor with University level Biology and Neuroscience students. Ben is a committed and motivated Tutor who displays patience and understanding to his students.

Hannah

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine)

Hannah completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.25, going on to commence her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at the University of New England. Hannah has taught and guided younger students in both karate and homework during her time at school and received tutoring herself throughout high school for each subject. Hannah can mould her classes to cater to a student's needs and weaknesses. She is approachable and friendly, creating a comfortable work environment for her students.

Oliver

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Psychology (Honours))

Oliver graduated High School with an ATAR of 96.55 and is now studying a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Sydney. During his time in High School, Oliver tutored students individually, helping them with homework, assignments, test preparation and learning new content. During Years 11 and 12, he was tutored himself and understands the benefits of Tutors that can adapt to their students and believes he does this well. He also is confident in making the learning process generally less stressful and more enjoyable for his students.
