WA University Student (Bachelor of Arts (English and Cultural Studies/Communication and Media Studies))

Rachel is a university student currently studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and Cultural Studies. She has acquired great communication skills from her experience as a student leader in school and a volunteer mentor with primary school students. The subject of English has always been a strong suit for Rachel, and it brings her great joy to empower others with the necessary tools to use the English Language successfully.

Helen is a qualified, accredited Teacher, holding her Bachelor of Education (Primary). She has been teaching for the past 20 years in both Primary and Secondary schools. She started teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) before moving into Special Education, working with a variety of students with special needs. Helen is patient and nurtures her students to learn with confidence and to assist them in realising their goals for the future, as well as helping them reach their full potential academically.

Chantelle

Chantelle is a qualified Teacher holding a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Education and minor in English and a Diploma of Secondary Education with a minor in English. She began working as an English Teacher in 2015 and has also worked as a Diverse Learning Teacher. Chantelle strives to identify her students learning goals and develop their skills and understanding in order to achieve beyond their self-established expectations. She is confident in meeting the learning needs of all students through creating inclusive, differentiated and positive learning experiences.

Mina-Abanoub

Mina-Abanoub is a qualified, accredited Teacher, holding a Master of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English. He has been working as a private English Tutor since 2015 and has taught as a Pre-Service Teacher. Mina-Abanoub likes to work with his students to build a solid foundation in English and Critical Thinking so that they are equipped to handle any assignment.

Georgia

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology)

Georgia completed her Year 12 certificate in 2020 and excelled with her English subjects. Georgia's goal is to impart her passion for English to ignite imagination that instils the excitement of learning within all students. She aims to tailor lessons in order to not only maximise success but create a joyful and creativity-filled environment. Georgia has extensive, first-hand experience with diversity including those with disabilities, and is especially eager to assist in navigating the complexities throughout the education system.

Kamalini

Kamalini has experience teaching and tutoring for more than 10 years, with experience supporting mainstream and special needs students. She holds a Certificate III in Education Support and a Certificate IV in Education Support (Special Needs). Kamalini is empathetic and sensitive to students needs and emotions. Through her experience she has gained a special insight into needs of her students with a wide range of special needs.

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours))

Leka completed her Year 12 Certificate with an ATAR of 95.25. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) at La Trobe University. Leka creates an engaging and fun environment in her sessions, and strives to ensure her students reach their full potential.

Tessa

Tessa is a Bachelor of Early Education graduate who has several years of experience as an educator in early childhood centres. Tessa also has experience teaching all Primary years and feels passionate about her role as an educator in the foundational years of a student's learning.

Katelyn

VIC Teacher

Katelyn is a qualified, registered Secondary Teacher with 6 months experience as a Relief Teacher for Prep to Year 12. She also has experience as a full-time Teacher to Years 5 and 8, and 2 years' experience with special needs students. Katelyn actively encourages creativity and curiosity in her students. She prepares and encourages students for academic excellence by providing a learning environment conducive to learning novel and complex ideas and concepts. She motivates students by empathising with them and providing constructive feedback.
