She is passionate about helping students develop their key literacy and numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Anastasija

NSW Teacher

Anastasija is a qualified Teacher, holding a Master of Primary Teaching. She has been working as an online Tutor in Mathematics and English since 2020, completed a 9 week Practicum Student Teacher placement as part of her studies and worked as a Kindergarten Teacher for 12 weeks with online learning. Her goal is to ensure that every student is given the tools to chase the endless possibilities open to them. She strives to teach students to be resilient problem solvers that enjoy a challenge and aspires to create a safe, collaborative environment where language and communication is used in a meaningful way. Anastasija hopes to empower students to be aware of the world around them and to realise their potential for making it a better place.

Rebecca

Rebecca is currently completing a Master of Teaching and enjoys helping children foster a love of learning through their interests and exploring their world. She has varied experience in Early and Primary education, and really loves teaching Literacy and Early Mathematics. She currently tutors English and Mathematics for Years 2-6.

Dina

NSW Teacher

Dina is a qualified Teacher and has worked since 2005 in both Primary and Secondary schools. Dina has experience teaching and supporting students with learning needs as well Autism. She is passionate about helping students develop their oral and written communication skills as they work towards achieving their educational goals.

Sunidhi

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science)

Sunidhi completed her Year 12 Certificate with an ATAR of 92.75. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. Sunidhi has previous experience tutoring. She is patient and employs various methods of teaching to ensure her students grasp the necessary concept.

Amy is currently studying Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Amy has a passion for problem-solving and helping students work through problems critically, with a holistic methodology. She enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain what they have learned.

Iqtidar completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 97.25 and is currently studying Actuarial Studies/Computer Science at University of New South Wales. Iqtidar is passionate about helping students develop their skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence.  

Matthew

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science)

Matthew commenced his Bachelor of Science (Data Science Major) with a breadth track in Econometrics and Finance at The University of Melbourne in 2019. He has experience in peer mentoring in Mathematics with Calculus and Linear Algebra during his first year of university. Matthew understands the challenges of studying at rural schools and can help his students to overcome these challenges.

Akshay

VIC University Student (PhD (Applied Mathematics))

Akshay completed his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honours in 2016 followed by his Masters Degree in Mathematics and Computing in 2018. He then commenced his PhD in Applied Mathematics at Swinburne University of Technology. Akshay has experience in tutoring Mathematics to Years 2-12. Akshay has a passion for fostering learning and analytical thinking, and prepares lesson plans to challenge his students.

Vivek

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Medical Science)

Vivek is currently studying his Bachelor of Medical Science, having completed his High School Certificate in 2020. Vivek is an enthusiastic and motivated Tutor, eager to support all types of students. Alexandra is currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Wollongong. She has experience tutoring through working as a tutor in practical university classes for 2 years and has extensive knowledge through working in biological research for 6 years. Emanuelle (Emma) graduated High School, achieving an ATAR of 96.5, and is now studying her Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. She has experience tutoring Maths Methods to peers in high school, scoring 19/20 in this subject in her Victorian Certificate of Education. Emma has always wanted to help other students achieve their academic goals, inspired by her tutors in the past and how much their guidance and support have contributed to her accomplishments. She hopes to pass on her acquired knowledge and support with the same patience and understanding her tutors provided her with.

Annica is currently completing a Bachelor of Science and Education (Secondary) at the University of NSW. She has experience as an Assistant Teacher in a university robotics program and as an academic Tutor in Math and Chemistry. Annica is patient, encouraging and helps build confidence in all her students.

Nathan also has 8 years of experience volunteering at Newhope Baptist Church with children aged 5 - 18, developing life skills and providing support with school work if needed.
