Tenea is currently completing a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the University of Wollongong. She has experience teaching young students and uses an encouraging, supportive approach to nurture her students. Tenea enjoys getting to know her students and giving them the skills they need to learn and grow at a pace that is right for them.

Kathleen

QLD University Student (Bachelor of Commerce (Business Law Major))

Kathleen is currently studying her Master of Education (Primary) and is working as a Casual Relief Teacher for a Primary school, teaching Prep to Year 6 students. Kathleen believes in providing a nurturing, supportive, friendly environment for her students to relax and be comfortable to learn in.

Miranda

NSW Teacher

Miranda is a qualified, accredited Teacher, completing her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary Education) in 2016. She started as a Casual Relief Teacher in 2017 and taught Year 3 students for 2 years. She also has experience teaching a Year 4 student with Autism. Currently, Miranda teaches Kindergarten. Miranda understands that every child is unique, with specific learning needs and that as an educator it is her role to cater to the diverse learning styles of all children and engage students in learning so they want to become a life-long learner in an ever-changing society. She believes that every child has a right to be part of a safe and positive learning environment.

Sarah-Jayne

QLD Teacher

Sarah-Jayne is a qualified Teacher, holding her Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood Education from Curtin University. Sarah-Jayne has also obtained her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Sarah-Jayne enjoys working with children, helping them to succeed and gain a sense of belonging and value. She aims to engage and interest her students while focusing on where they need help the most. It is important to Sarah-Jayne to foster close, trusting relationships with her students by valuing individuality and culture.

Narda is passionate about helping students develop their key numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Narda believes in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment and feels with the right support, students can reach their potential.

Barry is a qualified, registered Teacher having completed his Graduate Diplomas Secondary Education in 1997, with experience in Mathematics and Computing. Barry is confident in maximising student achievement in their academics.

Huiyu

Huiyu (Diana) completed high school in the year 2019, achieving an ATAR of 91.15, going on to study a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. She has tutoring experience for with both Primary and Secondary students. Diana has the confidence to help and support students in their studies, as well as creating an engaging and positive learning environment.

Matthew

VIC University Student (Masters of Teaching)

Matthew has completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Physics and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music from Monash University, and is currently completing a Master of Secondary Teaching specialising in Maths and Physics. Matthew is an experienced Tutor, and is very familiar with curriculum and different learning styles, and can adapt his approach to different learning needs.

Ngoc Diep (Jane)

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Commerce)

Jane completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 96.55. She then went on to commence her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne in 2020. She has 1 year of experience as a private Tutor to Victorian Certificate of Education students. Jane's focus is to build her student's confidence. She believes that all students have potential and can be the best, however, it takes them time and effort to realise what their strengths are. Jane is seeking to help students explore their abilities and learn how to utilize them in their life.

Alexandra

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry and Cell Biology))

Alexandra is currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Wollongong. She has experience tutoring through working as a tutor in practical university classes for 2 years and has extensive knowledge through working in biological research for 6 years. Alexandra believes in fostering a positive and encouraging environment for her students to engage in collaborative discussions and reach their potential.

Oi Man

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science (Honours))

Sherlly completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2019 at The University of Melbourne, followed by commencing her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry the following year. In 2016 she has tutored students in years 7-10 in Science, Mathematics and English after school and currently she is an Academic Assistant to tutor for Chemistry to undergrad students at university, online with groups up to 30. Sherlly's skills lie in providing students with the foundational knowledge and appropriate mental framework to understand even the most complicated topics in science.

Derya

Derya is currently studying a Bachelor of Science at University. She has vast experience tutoring Mathematics. Derya loves seeing her students through problems and building their confidence as they get more familiar with the concepts.

Dilkini

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science)

Dilkini is in her final year of a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at Monash University. During high school, she was awarded a D'Angelo Family Science Scholarship. She has two years of experience tutoring primary and secondary school mathematics, as well as VCE year 11 mathematical methods. She encourages her students to enjoy the learning process and supports them to reach their highest potential.

Nikhil holds a Master of Teaching (Primary) from the University of Western Sydney. He currently works as a Casual Teacher at various schools. As an educator, he aims to instil the value of education in his students and offer them rich and varied learning experiences that will enhance their performance as well as remain memorable to them.

Ben completed his Diploma of Bioscience in 2015, a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2017 and his Graduate Diploma of Science in 2019. Between 2018 and 2019 he worked as a Tutor with University level Biology and Neuroscience students. Ben is a committed and motivated Tutor who displays patience and understanding to his students.

Nathan is a student at Monash University, studying a double degree of IT and Science with majors in Chemistry and Software Development. He has a very strong knowledge of Maths and Science and aims to help his students develop their learning and meet their educational goals! Nathan also has 8 years of experience volunteering at Newhope Baptist Church with children aged 5 - 18, developing life skills and providing support with school work if needed.
