Heidi

VIC Teacher

Heidi is a qualified and experienced Secondary School Teacher with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) from the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in German and Russian languages and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Melbourne. Heidi has experience as a private Tutor both with Primary and Secondary students. Heidi is passionate about making a positive impact in her students' lives and sharing her enthusiasm. She tries to develop classes that engage and challenge her students and hopes to inspire them to become life-long learners.

Shirin

VIC Teacher

Shirin is a qualified Primary School Teacher, having completed her Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning in 2013. She started off as a Casual Relief Teacher across all Primary years, then went on to classroom teaching with a Year 1 and 2 class for 3 years before returning to casual teaching in 2020. She has experience across a lot of different schools as well as experience with special needs students. Shirin brings great patience to her students and realises that some students require more support than others.

Conor

VIC Teacher

Conor is currently studying a Masters of Specialist Inclusive Education, having previously completed a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). He has 5 years of teaching experience, including working in special education. Conor loves helping young people who are working towards reaching their learning goals in Literacy and Numeracy. He is endlessly fascinated by peeking into the interests of young people and sharing in their enthusiasm.

Felicity

NSW Teacher

Felicity is a qualified, accredited Teacher and currently works as a Numeracy and Literacy Teacher at a school where the majority of students don't speak English as their first language. She has also worked as a Teacher's Aide in classrooms with children who have special learning needs. Felicity understands the importance of extra patience and effort with special needs students to ensure that these students are gaining a thorough and conceptual understanding of their work. She is confident in methods to help encourage and develop speech, as well as interaction in social situations.

Simon

SA University Student (PhD (Earth Science))

Simon has completed a Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics and is now studying a PhD in Geophysics. He has also studied Mathematics units outside of his degrees. Simon is comfortable teaching students with special needs, using clear communication to help understand their needs.

Vanshita

Vanshita is currently studying her first year of Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry(Honours) at the University of New South Wales. She prides herself on her strong interpersonal and communication skills. Vanshita is warm and self-driven and strives to help students to accomplish their personal best. She is patient, encouraging, and persistent.

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science (Bioengineering Systems))

Charlotte graduated High School in 2018 with an ATAR of 97.45. She went on to study her Bachelor of Science (Bioengineering Systems) / Diploma in Computing at The University of Melbourne. She has professional experience tutoring Victorian Certificate of Education students in Mathematics and Chemistry. Charlotte has a passion for problem solving and helping others. Charlotte has strong communication skills that she uses with her students and a love of teaching and learning.

Sandra

Sandra is currently studying her Ph.D. in Natural Science. She has worked as a scientist on various biochemistry projects and taught Biology, Chemistry and Science for students in grades 7-12. Sandra believes that an important aspect of Science is the connection between theory and practice. She enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Raunak has completed a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bachelor of Biomedicine Science (Honours) in Neurosurgery, a Master of Biotechnology and is currently studying his Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine. Raunak is confident in building relationships with a variety of students, identify their needs and solve these needs with acquired expertise and mentorship.

Ian

SA Teacher

Ian is a retired Chemistry Teacher with 40 years of teaching experience, with a focus on the South Australian Certificate of Education years 11 and 12 Chemistry. He has tutored with the Adelaide Education Group during school holidays and has written content material for all South Australian senior Chemistry courses. He brings confidence and a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students.

Ali completed a Master of Science and then a PhD in 2020. He has vast experience tutoring Chemistry. Ali enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.
