Shahidah commenced her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts with majors in Biochemistry and Sociology and minors in Anatomy and Physiology and Human Rights in 2017 at Monash University. Since 2019 she has been a peer mentor to current Victorian Certificate of Education students. She also has 4 years of private tutoring experience, both online and face to face with students in Primary Mathematics, Science and English and Secondary Biology, Chemistry and Health and Human Development. Shahidah coaches her students through challenging materials with positive reinforcement and encouragement. She is highly passionate in working with children and inspiring them to their full potential.

Iti completed a Master of Science in Physics in 2009 and a Bachelor of Education in 2007 and has also been a Physics Lecturer for two years. Iti has a passion for guiding students to reach their full potential based on their interests, strengths, and individual learning styles.

NSW University Student (Doctor of Medicine)

May is currently studying her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. Has experience with informally tutoring family and friends, and has done some of her own private tutoring with students in Years 7 and 8. He is a Youth College Teacher, teaching religious texts to students aged 10-15. May enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.

Jim is a qualified Teacher, holding his Bachelor of Education in Secondary Mathematics. He has over 27 years' experience, and since 2016, has been working as a Head Mathematics Teacher. Jim is an effective communicator, proficient in developing and delivering lesson plans that target learning outcomes and emphasise positive results. He can successfully differentiate content to address a variety of learning styles and individual student needs.

Bartholomew

ACT University Student (Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry and Psychology Major))

Bartholomew completed the International Baccalaureate with a score of 38/45, equivalent to an ATAR score of 96.75. He is currently in his first year of a Bachelor of Science with majors in Biochemistry and Psychology at Australian National University. Bartholomew has experience in tutoring Chemistry at a High School level and has a passion for Sciences.

Bianca is a Medicine student who has a passion for lifelong learning and enjoys engaging students to pursue their goals. She has worked as a Teaching Associate at UTS where she has experience cofacilitating online classes and creating educational content for students. Her background in both Science and Health allows her to focus on students' problem solving ability, calculations, reading comprehension and essay writing skills.

Waqas has completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering through The University of Queensland and has tutored at a university level. Waqas is passionate about developing students' skills as they work towards acquiring educational independence. He believes in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment where students engage in discussions and work together to problem solve. Waqas feels that all students can reach their potential and is always ready to teach and learn from his students.

Mario completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 96.80. He completed his flexible double degree at the Australian National University, graduating with a Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and minoring in English Literature) in 2020. Mario has been tutoring since 2017 and has tutored students in a wide range of subjects, from Chemistry to Literature. Nishmi completed her HSC in 2018 with an ATAR of 93. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce and Advanced Science (Honours) majoring in Financial Economics and Chemistry from the University of New South Wales. She is a member of UNSW Women in Technology, which is one of the largest student societies at UNSW and helps lead the Events Committee. She has experience with being a student mentor in High School, as well as tutoring Secondary level Math and Science. Nishmi is deeply passionate about working with students and providing them with the tools to empower themselves to be successful.
