Linh

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education (Honours))

Linh is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education, with a major in Science (Chemistry and Physiology) and minor in Economics. In 2019, she had a university placement with students in Years 1, 4 and 8 in Mathematics and English. Linh's teaching philosophy is to put a strong emphasis on problem-solving skills and leading students to answers rather than simply memorising facts.

Mark

Mark holds a Certificate IV in Education Support and currently works as a Learning Support Officer, working with years 7 to 12 students in English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science in a permanent position, as well as working casually as a Teacher Aide/Education Support Worker with Primary and Secondary students. Mark is a confident Tutor bringing a wealth of knowledge and strong communication skills to his sessions.

Oshadini Hansika

Oshadini is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Deakin University. Oshadini is passionate about making a positive impact in her student's lives and sharing her enthusiasm. Joanne (Jo) is a qualified Teacher, holding her Bachelor of Teaching and Learning. She has experience working with both Primary and Secondary students. She loves interacting with a diverse range of students and coordinating learning programs to ensure the delivery of educational opportunities and activities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential. Jo enjoys a challenge and connecting with students to provide a supportive learning experience.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Computer Science)

Justin completed his Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019, and is now studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Science and Computer Science. Justin enjoys explaining complex Mathematical concepts to students by gauging their learning style and adapting his teaching approach. He focuses on the needs of his students and provides feedback to encourage a love of learning.

Nusaiba

QLD University Student (Bachelor of Biotechnology)

Nusaiba completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 93.90. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Biotechnology. Nusaiba has previous experience tutoring. She enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Joshua

Joshua has been working as a private Mathematics Tutor since 2008, with students in Prep to Year 10. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology) and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Medicinal Chemistry) with First Class Honours. Joshua is also a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Monash University. Joshua provides a positive and engaging learning environment for his students.

Michelle completed her Higher School Certificate in 2017, achieving an ATAR 95.8 and is now studying her Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours). She has experience as a Tutor helping students at the University of Sydney. Michelle is approachable and compassionate in the way she mentors her students which allows for supportive conversations where they can confide in her and seek advice. Michelle has also developed the ability to build relationships with a variety of people, identify their needs and solve these needs with acquired expertise and mentorship.

She has extensive experience tutoring Secondary students in Literacy and Numeracy and 2 years' experience as a EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher. Ashan completed his Bachelor of Science - majoring in Analytical Chemistry at Curtin University in 2017. Ashan has a passion for the Sciences and enjoys helping students gain ownership over their studies and building confidence in their work.
