VIC Teacher

Monica is a qualified Primary Teacher and has taught at a variety of levels. Monica's experience of mentoring young people has helped her develop an encouraging, sensitive rapport with her students. Monica tutors both Primary Maths and English.

Harriette

SA University Student (Bachelor of Law and International Relations)

Harriette completed her South Australian Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 99, then went on to study her Bachelor of Law and International Relations at Adelaide University. She tutors Year 11 and 12 students in various South Australian Certificate of Education subjects, with additional experience tutoring Primary students in Numeracy and Literacy. Harriette prides herself on her friendly disposition and endeavours to make tutoring sessions as accessible and enjoyable as possible. She understands that every student learns differently and it is her incentive to ensure her students feel as though they are in a comfortable environment, where they can ask to questions and explore until they genuinely understand the content.

Luke

Luke is passionate about English, creative writing, song writing, music creation and technology. He has home schooled his Primary aged children and is currently working as a Personal Care Assistant. He enjoys seeing his students gain confidence with their learning and having some fun along the way.

Oshadha

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Commerce)

Oshadha completed his VCE in 2018 with an ATAR of 98.25 and is now studying a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Actuarial Studies at the University of Melbourne. Throughout Year 12 he assisted his peers through Math tutoring and since then has also done his own private tutoring in Math with students in Years 11/12. Oshadha has a passion for helping students achieve their best and help them develop a love for Math.

Steven completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 98.05. He is currently studying a Bachelor in Biomedicine at Monash University and has extensive experience tutoring Maths as a private Tutor. He has a passion for problem-solving and helping students work through problems critically, with a holistic methodology.

Alexandra is currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Wollongong. She has experience tutoring through working as a tutor in practical university classes for 2 years and has extensive knowledge through working in biological research for 6 years. Hasina

Hasina completed her Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 2001, Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2001 and her Certificate III in Education Support in 2018, going to commence her Masters of Learning Intervention (Deaf Education) at the University of Melbourne. She has experience teaching Victorian Certificate of Education Chemistry and International Baccalaureate Diploma Chemistry. Hasina is an enthusiastic and experienced Tutor who can adopt and employ a range of strategies to suit the diverse learning needs of students.

Oi Man

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science (Honours))

Sherlly completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2019 at The University of Melbourne, followed by commencing her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry the following year. In 2016 she has tutored students in years 7-10 in Science, Mathematics and English after school and currently she is an Academic Assistant to tutor for Chemistry to undergrad students at university, online with groups up to 30. Sherlly's skills lie in providing students with the foundational knowledge and appropriate mental framework to understand even the most complicated topics in science.

Originally from the UAE, Yasra is currently completing a Master of Advanced Engineering at Monash University. Yasra has extensive tutoring experience and applies her expertise in Math and Chemistry sessions to Secondary students.

Emmeline

Emmeline graduated High School with an ATAR equivalent of 98 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Applied Science (Optometry) at the Queensland University of Technology. She currently works as an Optometrist/Vision Therapist, developing and implementing learning plans for her patients. Emmeline loves working with her students helping them build their skills and confidence in learning.

Raaziya

VIC University Student (Masters of Teaching (Secondary))

Raaziya holds a Bachelor of Science and is studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary). She has extensive experience tutoring Secondary students in Literacy and Numeracy and 2 years' experience as a EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher. Raaziya loves to explain complex problems in a way that is easy to understand. She has a passion for engaging with her students in a way that allows them to maximise their potential.

Joshua

Joshua has been working as a private Mathematics Tutor since 2008, with students in Prep to Year 10. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology) and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Medicinal Chemistry) with First Class Honours. Joshua is also a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Monash University. Joshua provides a positive and engaging learning environment for his students.
