QLD University Student (Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative & Professional Writing))

Eden completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Creative and Professional Writing in 2017 at the Queensland University of Technology. She obtained her Graduate Certificate in TESOL at Griffith University in 2020 followed by commencing her Diploma of Modern Languages (Japanese) at the University of New England. She has 3 years formal tutoring experience from prep to year 12 students in Mathematics (up to year 10) and English (up to year 12). Eden has a passion for guiding students to reach their full potential based on their interests, strengths, and individual learning styles.

Acushla

QLD Teacher

Acushla completed her Diploma of Children's Services in 2012. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Early Years Education (Birth to 8 years) in 2015, followed by her Masters in Contemporary Education Leadership. She has been teaching Primary for 4 years, from prep to year 5 students in all subjects. Acushla is an enthusiastic, empathetic and passionate Teacher who believes that each student should have the opportunity to a learning environment where they feel safe, supported and happy to enhance their learning journey.

Emma is a qualified, accredited Teacher, having completed her Masters of Teaching (Primary) in 2020. She is currently teaching a Year 5 class, but has experience teaching prep to Year 6 through her practicums with university. Emma creates a fun and inspiring learning environment for her students where they can feel comfortable to ask questions to ensure they are fully supported in their studies.

Adam commenced his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Aerospace) and Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 2015 at the University of New South Wales. He's been working as a private Tutor since 2014 with students in years 8 in Mathematics and Science, years 11 & 12 HSC Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, years 11 & 12 IB SL Mathematics and First Year University Chemistry. Sheryl is a qualified Primary and Secondary Teacher who has completed her Graduation Certificate in Secondary Education from Murdoch University and then went on to gain her teaching registration. In 2018 she tutored Mathematics with Primary and Secondary students. Sheryl enjoys being a mentor and guides student to understand Mathematics in the context of real-world situations. Sheryl is a patient Teacher and aims to have her students engage in challenging activities while developing life-skills and progressing towards realising their abilities and potential.

Sylvia completed her Higher School Certificate in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 98.25. She then went on to commence her Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and Computer Science at the University of New South Wales. She has been a private Tutor since 2019 in Mathematics U3 and U4 and Chemistry, and was a formal Tutor to Primary students in Mathematics in 2018. Sylvia believes that lessons, regardless of the content and material difficulty, can always be made interesting, engaging and fun.

Georgina graduated High School in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 98.55 and went on to study her Bachelor of Mathematical Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Georgina likes to maintain a warm and supportive rapport with her students, encouraging them through their struggles. She strives to explain difficult concepts both efficiently and to the needs to each individual student.

Sandra is currently studying her Ph.D. in Natural Science. She has worked as a scientist on various biochemistry projects and taught Biology, Chemistry and Science for students in grades 7-12. Sandra believes that an important aspect of Science is the connection between theory and practice. She enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Waqas has completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering through The University of Queensland and has tutored at a university level. Waqas is passionate about developing students' skills as they work towards acquiring educational independence. He believes in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment where students engage in discussions and work together to problem solve. Waqas feels that all students can reach their potential and is always ready to teach and learn from his students.

SA University Student (Bachelor Of Medical Science / Masters of Optometry)

Affia is currently studying Medical Science and Optometry at Flinders University in South Australia. She achieved an outstanding ATAR of 99.45 in high school and currently tutors year 9-11 Chemistry, and years 2-12 Mathematics including NAPLAN and Methods. She is a kind, patient, and highly experienced tutor with hundreds of completed tutoring sessions, and is very familiar with current curriculum.
