VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science)

Ananya completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019, going on to commence her Bachelor of Science in 2020 at the University of Melbourne. She has tutoring experience in both Mathematics and English. Ananya brings communication strength to her students and has an understanding that all students have different communication styles and can adjust according to their needs.

Matisse

VIC University Student (Masters in Primary Education)

Matisse is currently studying her Masters of Education (Primary) and as part of her studies, she has completed practicums. In 2021 she has worked casually in Out of School Hours Care and in an Education Support Staff role. Matisse believes that she has developed a sound judgement in the effectiveness of each resource and program for individual students. She strongly supports the Constructivist Theory of learning, in which each student is recognised as an individual with differing learning needs and must be supported in processing and understanding information in a way that suits their learning style. As part of her pedagogy, she firmly believes it is important to understand her students and find teaching strategies that will best support them.

Jeffrey

NSW Teacher

Jeffrey is a qualified Teacher with vast experience teaching Primary students. He is passionate about watching students grow in their education. Jeffrey creates an engaging and fun environment in his sessions, and strives to ensure his students reach their full potential.

Emma

Emma completed a Bachelor of Science, Human Biology and Population Heath in 2016, going on to then complete her Bachelor of Psychology in 2021 at Deakin University. Between 2014 and 2019 she worked as a Private Tutor with Primary and Secondary students in Mathematics, English and Biology, helping them to understand content and improve their diligence, time-management, confidence and communication skills. Emma loves to teach and to help students achieve their goals.

Nadia

QLD University Student (Masters of Teaching and Learning)

Nadia is currently studying a Master of Teaching and Learning. She has tutored students for over 10 years. Nadia aims to deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons to students of all abilities to help them achieve and exceed their academic goals.

Gabrielle

WA University Student (Bachelor of Secondary Education)

Gabrielle commenced her Bachelor of Secondary Education & Health and Sport Science at Murdoch University in 2016. She has experience as an English Tutor with university students in both education and in masters who need help with English As a second Language. She has also tutored High School students in a casual capacity. Gabrielle is experienced with teaching different learning capabilities, having first-hand experience in witnessing different learning needs through catering to her own disability and disability of others.

NSW Teacher

Danielle is a qualified Teacher, holding a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and Bachelor of Mathematics. She has been working as a Private Mathematics Tutor with Years 4-12 since 2009 and has been working as a Teacher since 2012. Danielle is adept at nurturing a love for Mathematics in her students while fostering a healthy learning environment catering to the academic, social and emotional needs of the students.

Chinenye

SA University Student (Bachelor of Clinical Science / Doctor of Medicine)

Chinenye graduated High School in 2020 with an ATAR of 97.5, going on to study her Bachelor of Clinical Science and Doctor of Medicine. Chinenye aims to provide an empathetic, student-oriented experience that is supportive and empowering.

Jack

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science Advanced - Research (Honours))

Jack is currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) - Research (Honours) at Monash University. Jack is a driven future scientist who loves both Maths and English and enjoys sharing his passion through tutoring. He enjoys seeing his students understand hard concepts and uses these as a stepping stones to learn further new and exciting concepts.

Radhika

Radhika has recently completed her PhD in Applied Science and has experience tutoring and working as an educator with senior Chemistry students. Radhika is passionate about developing students foundational science skills as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Radhika believes in facilitating a positive and encouraging environment for students to engage and develop a love for learning.

Ann is currently studying her Bachelor of Medical Science at The University of Sydney. She has experience tutoring primary school children across a range of subjects from English and Math to more aptitude-based skills. She also tutored fellow peers in junior high school Mathematics. Ann has a passion for English and Science, particularly Chemistry. Ann develops empathetic connections with her students and is keen to use her interests to make lessons as engaging as possible.

Tera completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 98.05 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Advanced) at University of Adelaide. Tera tries to develop sessions that engage and challenge his students and hopes to inspire his students to become life-long learners.  

Grace

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Dentistry)

Grace completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Commerce in 2020, going on to commence her Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). She has been working as a private Victorian Certificate of Education Chemistry and Biology Tutor since 2020. Grace likes to maintain a warm and supportive rapport with her students, encouraging them through their struggles. She strives to explain difficult concepts both efficiently and to the needs to each individual student.

Nishmi

NSW University Student (Commerce and Advanced Science (Honours))

Nishmi completed her HSC in 2018 with an ATAR of 93. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce and Advanced Science (Honours) majoring in Financial Economics and Chemistry from the University of New South Wales. She is a member of UNSW Women in Technology, which is one of the largest student societies at UNSW and helps lead the Events Committee. She has experience with being a student mentor in High School, as well as tutoring Secondary level Math and Science. Nishmi is deeply passionate about working with students and providing them with the tools to empower themselves to be successful.

John

VIC Teacher

John has 9 years' experience tutoring Primary, Secondary and University students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and English. He also has 2 years' experience as a Senior Teacher of Year 10 and 12 Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry students. During John's time teaching and tutoring, he has helped many students with different learning needs, including those with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia as well as supporting students with Autism. John holds a Bachelor of Science/Mathematics and a Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting from the University of Newcastle. John has a strong focus on the ongoing understanding, reasoning, development and improvement of Primary and Secondary school students.

Amy is currently a Biomedical Science student at the University of Queensland. She has gained 2 years of Mathematics and Chemistry tutoring experience. Amy is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment by encouraging her students to develop individual skills and a love for learning.
