Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. She has experience as a Casual Relief Teacher through all Primary and Secondary years and since 2018 she has been working in Outside of School Hours Care. Simone cares about the student as a whole, including their emotional, cognitive and physical needs and believes that every student can benefit from extra one-on-one time with an Educator who is altruistic. She wants to see her students accelerate, but most importantly find a renewed love and passion for learning. Simone believes that tutoring is a not a job, but a privilege.
