Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Maths Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Mathematics: Secondary
Hamza is currently studying Civil Engineering/Business Management (Honours) at RMIT University. He has previous experience tutoring Mathematics. Patrick is currently studying his Master of Teaching (Secondary) after completing his Bachelor of Science (Mathematics). Since 2021 Patrick has been tutoring Year 9 students one to one as well as group tutoring with 3 HSC students for Extension 2 Mathematics. Mathematics is Patrick's passion and has always given him a sense of wonder and an appreciation for the abstract. His goal is to share these same experiences by becoming an effective Mathematics Teacher with a vibrant and enthusiastic approach.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics (Honours))
Mathematics: Secondary & Senior
Nishchay completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 97.60 and is currently pursuing a double degree in Actuarial Studies and Advanced Mathematics (Honours) at UNSW. Throughout his senior years, Nishchay has been actively involved in tutoring his peers. He enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.
