Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Matthew completed his Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from the University of Notre Dame in 2016. He taught as a Secondary Teacher in English and Drama between 2016 and 2020. Matthew is a highly effective communicator across all academic stages who has a personal yet professional approach to education, ensuring that his students' needs are met so they can achieve their best in both exam conditions and for classroom assignments.

Ocea graduated High School in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 91.85 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Queensland. Priya completed her Victoria Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 97.45. She went on to then commence her Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Arts at Monash University. Priya has experience tutoring students with special learning needs and gifted children. Priya understands the importance of tailoring methods of communication and presentation of material to best suit her students.
