Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. She has 2 years of form tutoring experience, working with students aged 4-16 in Mathematics and English. She's also privately tutored primary students for 2 years in Mathematics, English and NAPLAN. Meenakshi aims to deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons to students of all abilities to help them achieve and exceed their academic goals.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Advanced Computing)

Hilda completed her HSC in 2018 with an ATAR of 91.35 and is currently a student at The University of Sydney, completing a Bachelor of Advanced Computing and Marketing. Mathematics: Primary & Secondary

Madeleine completed her Year 12 Certificate in 2018 with an ATAR score of 98.95. She is now undertaking a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland. Madeleine is a patient and encouraging tutor dedicated to helping students achieve their learning goals by applying her expertise and tutoring skills to every lesson.

Rolanda is a first year Medicine student, she graduated in 2019 with an ATAR of 99+ and has experience tutoring through to volunteering during her High School years to teach those younger and less fortunate. Rolanda is passionate about creating an environment where her students feel comfortable and start to gain a love for learning. Through her own experience in studying for selective school exams and her HSC, she is able to understand and facilitate the problem areas where students may lack in to achieve their best.

Daniel completed his International Baccalaureate Diploma with a score equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95. He completed his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Science in 2020 and went on to commence his Doctor of Medicine, both through the University of Queensland. He has been privately tutoring ATAR and International Baccalaureate students for 3 years in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Daniel's focus is on incorporating a balanced approach to his student's studies so that a sustainable and productive study plan can be developed, tailored for each student's lifestyle.
