Bivariate data analysis
- Identifying and describing associations between two categorical variables
- Identifying and describing associations between two numerical variables
- Fitting a linear model to numerical data
- Association and causation
Our Year 12 Mathematical Applications program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the WA/ACT Syllabus. Students examine methods to analyse bivariate data within the framework of the statistical investigation process. Students also employ techniques to solve growth and decay problems given a range of financial situations. Students investigate graphs and networks within practical-related contexts, implementing solutions for rail and social networks. Our program provides students with a breadth of instruction on time series analysis, loans, investments and annuities, networks and decision mathematics.
Your content plan appears in the learning environment, sequenced to your learning needs and accessible with ease by you and your tutor.
