Year 11 General Mathematics
Our Year 11 General Mathematics program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the SA/NT Syllabus. Students build on their practices of calculating returns for investments and loans. They examine further mathematical techniques to calculate shares and dividends. Their study of measurement is consolidated and expanded to include application of Simpson’s rule. We explore the statistical investigation process, applications of trigonometry as well as linear and exponential functions and their graphs.

Meet Dr Selina Samuels
Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.

Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Bradley graduated in 2018 with an ATAR of 99.2 and is currently studying a Doctor of Medicine. He has experience tutoring students in Maths and is passionate about helping students to develop key numeracy skills as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Bradley believes in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment and feels that all students can reach their potential.

He has a wealth of experience as a Maths Tutor, and has taught students from Years 7-12. Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
