Year 12 Mathematics Methods
Our Year 12 Mathematical Methods program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the TAS Syllabus. Students build on their understanding of differential calculus to discover the link to integration and build mastery of the various techniques and their applications. Trigonometric functions are developed to include sketching and applications of inverse trigonometric functions. In addition, our program provides in-depth instruction on continuous and discrete random variable distributions. This will build a framework for sampling and confidence intervals.

Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.

Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Adam commenced his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Aerospace) and Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 2015 at the University of New South Wales. He's been working as a private Tutor since 2014 with students in years 8 in Mathematics and Science, years 11 & 12 HSC Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, years 11 & 12 IB SL Mathematics and First Year University Chemistry. Adam has a kind and encouraging approach to anxious or shy students, building their confidence and enabling them to give their best.

Giuseppe is a qualified, accredited Teacher, having completing their Bachelor of Arts/Teaching, majoring in Mathematics in 2019. He is now studying his Master of Mathematics Education at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Giuseppe believes that all students regardless of ability can achieve success in education. He aims to share his passion for Mathematics to students to promote the idea that everyone can do well in Mathematics. His teaching strategies include a range of flexible and differentiated lessons that focus on student strengths, interests and goals. Giuseppe is always looking for new, authentic and real-life practical ways to teach Mathematics to accentuate its purpose and foster interest in his students necessary for academic success.

Ryan completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 99.95. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne and has previous experience as private Tutor. Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
