Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Madonna is a qualified, registered Teacher, holding her Bachelor of Education (Arts). She has experience teaching primary to senior secondary English in Victoria and over ten years' experience tutoring Literacy skills and Literacy support in specific subjects. She is currently tutoring Primary, Secondary and Victorian Certificate of Education students. Madonna enjoys reading and literature and sharing this love with her students. She encourages a hands-on learning environment, challenging students and encouraging independent learning.

Yajing completed her Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) in 2012 and her Master of Teaching in Early Years and Primary education in 2020 at Monash University. She had placements during her university time as a Primary classroom teacher and Languages Other Than English teacher with Years 3, 7 and 9. Yajing believes every student can learn and aims to assist them to achieve their full potential.

Andy completed his International Baccalaureate with a score of 43/45, equivalent to an ATAR score of 99.55, going on to commence his Bachelor of Commerce in 2021 at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Actuarial Studies. In 2020 he was selected by his school as a Peer Tutor for year 11 students, tutoring Mathematics, Physics and English. He also has a year of experience as a private Tutor in primary years and years 8 & 12, in English and Mathematics. Andy derives fulfilment from being able to help his students excel in their studies.
