Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

QLD Teacher

Joshua completed his Bachelor of Education (Secondary), graduating with Honours at the Queensland University of Technology in 2010, majoring in English and History. He has experience teaching English to years 7-10 in Australia, as well as teaching both Secondary and Primary English and English As a Second Language overseas. He is passionate about helping students develop their oral and written communication skills as they work towards achieving their educational goals.

Quyen is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Adelaide. She has previous experience teaching Mathematics and English to Primary students. Quyen enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Chanel

VIC Teacher

Chanel is a qualified Teacher, holding her Master of Teaching (Primary). She has experience as a Tutor and Primary School Teacher, both overseas and in Australia. Since 2021 she has been working as a Part-time Classroom Teacher with Grade 6. Chanel is also TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) accredited. Chanel is proficient at creating a learning atmosphere and devoted to working in an inclusive environment that emphasises respect and acceptance. She is committed to professional ethics, standards of practice and the care and education of young people.

Bali is a qualified Teacher with experience teaching English, Maths, and students with additional support needs (ASD). He has achieved his Bachelor of Arts in History/Religion and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary). Bali enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.

Hayat is currently studying her Master of Teaching, Primary and Secondary. She also holds her Master of TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics. Hayat has over 12 years of teaching experience, as a Community Teacher, working with students ages 6 to 13 years, as a Private Tutor in Mathematics and English and most recently as a Teaching Assistance, teaching small groups of students in Science, Mathematics and English. Hayat is passionate about working with young learners and helping students to excel academically.
