Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Nicky competed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 92.95, then went on to study a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University. Nicky aims to adopt a learning approach which will maximise academic performance, build self-confidence in particular areas of studies and subjects, and ultimately excel her students skills and knowledge, which will be appropriately tailored to each student.

Kate has past experience teaching both Primary and High School Maths and English. She holds a Bachelor degree from UNSW and a Masters degree from UTS. Kate cultivates a fun and low stress learning environment for her students.

Lawrence completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 94.25. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at University of New South Wales.
