Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Dom has over 20 years' experience in the education sector. He has several years of experience teaching English overseas and for the past few years has been an online English Teacher. Dom also holds a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate. Andrew completed his Bachelor of Education (Secondary) in 1987 at Victoria College, majoring in Sociology, Politics and Economics and minoring in English. He has been working as a Casual Relief Teacher since 2019. Andrew enjoys one-on-one tutoring and mentoring and believes it is the best and most enjoyable way to learn.
