Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Education (Secondary) / Bachelor of Arts (Mathematics))

English: Primary & Secondary

Carolina completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020, going on to then complete the Australian Catholic University "Step Up Into Teaching" Program. This program covers the theory behind education, the different methods of teaching and understanding the diverse needs of students. She is an online Tutor to Chinese speaking students in High School aged 10-20 years old, and has experience as an English as a Second Language Tutor with Primary and Secondary students. Carolina is dedicated to teaching students English and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Luciana

English: Primary, Secondary & Senior

Luciana has completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Literature, History and International Relations, and a Bachelor of Journalism. She has a passion for English and Literature and plans on studying to become an English Teacher. Luciana brings enthusiasm and a love for communicating to her students.

Peter is a qualified, registered Teacher, holding a Bachelor of Education (Primary to Year 12). He has 5 years of teaching experience to Years 2 - 6, currently teaching a Year 2/3 class. He has experience across a range of students with different abilities and learning difficulties. Peter works hard to build positive and productive relationships with his students so they feel safe and motivated to try their best.
