Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

English: Primary

Sabina completed her Bachelor of Arts (English) in 2001. She has also completed her Graduate Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language, Bachelor of Languages (German and Italian), Courses in Introductory Russian and Intermediate German, Diploma in Modern Languages (Spanish) and is currently studying her Master of Arts (German). Since 2019 she has been a Volunteer German Language Teaching Assistance, assisting a German Teacher with Primary students. Sabina is a committed and enthusiastic Tutor with a passion for Language and Literature.

Jennifer

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Arts/Law)

English: Primary & Secondary

Jennifer completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 98.00. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Law at University of New South Wales. She has vast experience in tutoring English. She is passionate about cultivating an enthusiasm for reading and writing in her students. In equipping students with the confidence to analyse and interpret texts, she aims to help strengthen their expression and voice in writing.

Leah is a qualified Primary and Secondary Teacher with almost 20 years' experience. In addition to her experience in the classroom, Leah has also been involved in developing a curriculum for EAL/ESL students and has undertaken additional training to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Leah has achieved a Bachelor of Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Mandarin and Chinese.
