Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

English: Primary & Secondary

Claire completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science in 2011 at La Trobe University. She also completed her Master of Clinical Audiology in 2015 at Melbourne University and her Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing in 2018 at the University of Southern Queensland. Claire has experience tutoring English and Mathematics to Primary through Year 10 students since 2018. Claire's aim is to assist students to make the most of their natural abilities and to encourage new approaches to learning and study that fit with each student.

Trisha

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies)

Trisha is currently studying for a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at the University of Technology, Sydney. As part of her studies, Trisha has had experience with four practical placements teaching Mathematics and English. Trisha recognises that all students must be taught with empathy and patience, and made to feel valued.
