Year 11 Mathematical Applications
Our Year 11 Mathematical Applications program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the WA/ACT Syllabus. In this program, students build on their knowledge of financial mathematics. We introduce the fundamental skills of working with matrices and provide practice to help students build mastery. The study of measurement and similarity are developed for three-dimensional objects. Our program explores the statistical investigation process, applications of trigonometry as well as linear equations and their graphs.

Thinushi is currently studying her Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics at Monash University. She has experience working at Kumon working with Kindergarten to Year 8 students in English and Mathematics and has conducted private tutoring in Mathematics for Years 5-12. Thinushi is patient and nurtures her students to learn with confidence and to assist them in realising their goals for the future, as well as helping them reach their full potential academically. Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
