Amanda
English: Secondary & Senior
Amanda has completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology through the University of Western Australia in 2010. She then followed on with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from Murdoch University in 2011. Amanda completed a Juris Doctor at Murdoch University in 2015 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2016. Amanda has experience teaching students aged 3-18 years in English as a second language, English, English Literature and Assignment Research Skills to T.A.F.E., Hong Kong, ESL, high school and primary school students. Amanda is passionate about helping students develop their key literacy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence.

Natasha is a university student currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Imaging / Bachelor of IT. She is passionate about developing students' critical analysis skills as they explore great texts and derive meaning from the literature. Lachminder is a qualified Primary and High School Teacher with over 15 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, English Literature and Political Science, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Education. Complementing Lachminder's patient, nurturing approach she has experience helping students with learning difficulties including dyslexia, ADHD and autism.

Maths Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Adam is currently studying a Masters of Teaching at the Curtin University, Perth and graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics. He has taught a range of students, across a wide range of ability levels, from Primary, to Secondary to Tertiary and is proud to share his passion for Maths through the medium of teaching.

Sinchana completed her HSC in 2018 with an ATAR of 97.45 and is currently a student at Macquarie University completing a Bachelor of Applied Finance with a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies. Sinchana is an experienced Tutor with over three years of private tutoring and has taught students with different learning abilities and styles. She currently tutors Maths 7-12 and Chemistry.

Mariela has experience working with a diverse range of students, assisting the facilitation of supported learning for special needs learning students and exploring a holistic approach to her student's wellbeing.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
